Cash cab

Cash cab is a game show on dicovery channel that takes place in a cab in New York City. This is a pretty good idea because with how many cabs there are in New York City the chances of you getting this cab is slim to none. The host and driver of the cash cab is Ben Bailey and I have to say they couldn't have picked a better host for this show. On the inside of the cabs ceiling there are lights and Ben must turn on the lights after the contestants get inside the cab. But sometimes he'll sit there and the contestants will be confused on why the cab isn't moving which creates an awkward momen for them and then he flips on the lights and comes to life and explains what they have just walked into. He is so lively and as the show has become more and more popular he has created different voices and bends down over the wheel. He sometimes pretends to have an Italian accecnt or talk like an old man and it's pretty funny. What I don't understand is how he knows where all these destinations are? Because when I went to New York City my cab driver didn't know where the place was I wanted to go and we had to tell him. Maybe he has a GPS in the cab or something? Another thing I want to know is how much money they keep in that cab? Because he always has the exact amount for the contestant everytime no matter how much they won. The first four questions are worth twenty five dollars the next four are fiffty dollars an after that the questions are worth a hundred dollars. You have two life lines in this game. You can either use a mobile shout out or a street shout out. For the mobile shout out Ben gives you a cell phone and you're allowed one call. For the street shout out Ben stops the car and pulls over to the side of the road and the contestants must ask a stranger walking by the question. This is an awkward moment because not everyone knows about this show and when you're walking down the street and some people hanging out of a cab window are calling over to you you usually just walk away. Since this show is completely random the contestants that come on this show are of all sorts. Some really dumb and some super smart. But if you get three strikes or three questions wrong Ben will kick you out no matter where you are and no matter what the weather was like. When you get to a red like that triggers a red light challenge where Ben will ask you a question that has multiple answers to it. You don't get penalized for wrong answers but you only have a certain amount of time to get all the answers to get the money. At the end of the ride. If you make it that far. You can either take the money or go double or nothing on a video bonus question. These questions are sometimes easy and then other times are just really hard. This game show is like a dumb version of jepordy.

ABDC

America's Best Dance Crew is a show on MTV that goes around America to find the best dance crews and put them on the show to compete against eachother. The creator is Randy Jackson the judge on American idol and it's obvious because the show is just like American idol except that it's dancing not singing. The do challenges every week and America votes to keep the crew they want. There are a panel of three judges jut like how American idol used to be and they can be characterized as the others just as well. Shane Sparks used to be a judge on America's Best Dance Crew and he was baisically "Randy" but he has been replaced by Omarion who is now the "Randy" judge. The nest judge is Lil Mama. Whch I don't understand because she's had what one hit song and now she's a dance master or something? That makes no sense to me. She can barely talk right because of this she's obvious the cast as "Paula". She always is complementing a costume or something and when she actually does critique the Dancing it's either somthing that another judge said or makes no sense. There are very few times that she has a good critque. The last jugde is Jc from N*sync. He of course is "Simon". He is always critisizing every little thing that the dance crew does wrong. It's like he's looking for them to mess up. Even though that's annoying it helps them get better as dancers. Now another similarity between the two shows are the hosts. Ryan Seacrest is the host of American idol and he is baisically a pretty boy. For America's Best Dance Crew they picked Mario Lopez another pretty boy to be the host. he's a Latino version of Ryan. Now to the dancing part of the show. The crews have to do challenges each week. I personally hate that they have to do these challenges. I would rather the show just pick an artist and then the crews have to chose a son that artist has song and then just battle on the stage. That way the crews
cans show of their own style and not something else. Then the show would have more diversity and wouldn't be based so heavily on hip hop
like it is now. I have only liked two dance crews out of all the seasons and they are the jabbawockeez and Afroboriké. Afroboriké was a
Cuban-Puerto Rican dance crew and I was impressed on how they mixed their Latino dance moves with hip hop. They should have won
season four. They only were in the bottom two once. They lost to We Are Heros an all girl crew who in my opinion wasn't all that good. But I
have to say hands down my favorite crew and the best crew out of all the seasons has to be the masked crew of guys the Jabbawockeez!
This crew dominated the first season of America's Best Dance Crew and won first place. They were unique from the very begining because
they wore these white masquerade like masks when they danced which set them apart from the rest. But what really blew them out of the
water is their dance moves! They were NEVER in the bottom two and they had no reason to be. Week after week they came out and they
didn't disappoint! If I were the other crews I wouldn't have bothered showing showing up let alone dance. After them other crews in my
opinon didn't reach the level they were at and every season since the first on has seemed dry to me. I feel that they will always be the best
dance crew.
